The sip-through lid is the one that turns a paper cup into a walk-away coffee. One size covers the 12, 16 and 20 oz cups, which keeps the lid box simple. The sleeve does the insulating a single-wall paper cup cannot: it slides on in a second and stops the burnt-fingers complaint.
