Foam, and what it is for

Foam protects surfaces. Where bubble absorbs impact, foam prevents the scuffs, scratches and rub marks that ruin finished goods on furniture, glass, painted metal and electronics.

It is also cleanly cuttable, so one roll covers many shapes without waste. For fragile items you often want both: foam against the product, bubble around the outside.

HOW TO USE IT

Foam against the product surface, cushioning outside it. One layer is usually enough — foam is about abrasion, not impact absorption.

Frequently asked

Foam or bubble?

Foam stops scratches, bubble absorbs impact. Finished surfaces want foam; fragile contents want bubble; many products want both.

Can I cut it to size?

Yes — foam cuts cleanly with a utility knife or foam cutter.
