Bulk boxes, in plain English

Gaylords and bulk bins are the workhorse of recycling lines, bulk parts storage, and anything measured by the pallet rather than the piece. The wall count does the work: more walls, more stacking strength and more abuse tolerance.

Match the wall to how the box is handled. Boxes that get filled once and shipped can run lighter; boxes that get reused, stacked two or three high, or moved with a forklift want double or triple wall.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

Check your pallet footprint and how high you stack. If the box overhangs the pallet even slightly, the corners lose most of their strength.
